Earlier this morning El Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has eyed Ibra as his perfect "9", to complete his team. Jorge Valdano(General Manager) and their president Florentino Perez is reluctance to undertake such a request from their coach.

It is reported that an offer around 35 million Euros is on the table for the big Swede. An operation of such special circumstances will have Madrid second guessing the purchase of World Cup star Ozil, as they have spent over 75 Million Euros this past summer.

The pending question right now is if Barcelona will even consider such a transfer between the 2 clubs. It is a reality that Pep has refused to comment on Ibra in his last Public meetings, but I heavily doubt we will sell one of our main strikers to a main rival so close to the End of the Transfer season.

His first line of duty is to appear during the draw for the Champions League on 26 August and to continuously represent Barca in UEFA meetings and competitions.

According to sport.es, Barcelona have reportedly opened the door to Liverpool's Javier Mascherano as Pep Guardiola recently stated he would seeks new additions to his 19-man squad.

Guardiola, in a press conference earlier today, admitted that he would not rule out any new additions ahead of the closing of the transfer window. According to television channel TV3, the club are looking to complete a deal for the Liverpool enforcer before the deadline on August 31.

The coach was quoted as saying"Somebody might come along. If not, we have 19 in the squad plus three, four, five, six, seven or eight players from the B team I can use.

“I’d rather have 24 players, but I don’t want to take players on just to make up the numbers. We’ve got 19, and we’d normally have 23 or 24, but that means you’ve got 11 or 12 who aren’t playing."
